Colorful Childhood

Hello! I know, I should be ashamed of myself. Let's face it - I have not put up any new posts for a while now so I am going to change that. Remember when in your childhood you would roll up your paper and pretend that you are a pirate on a pirate ship with your "telescope?" Well, I found out a way to still have that fun but in a crafty way. First, you find an empty cardboard tube such as an toilet paper or paper towel roll.  It can be any size. I am using a longer paper towel roll. You will also want to find a couple pieces of colorful tape or construction paper. These are 2 pictures of what I am using for this project. Keep in mind that this is a very simple project. It only has 1 step! The step is that you are going to grab your roll and cover it in the colorful tape or paper. If you used paper tape it on the roll or use glue.  Ahoy!
